Production with social value
At the initial phase, the Inclusion Factory employed 12 individuals with intellectual disability who performed assembly work for the automotive and electrical appliances industries. As of 2021, Inclusion Factory has employed 37 full-time employees with intellectual or mental disability.
Making inclusion work
As the company’s demand for hiring people with disabilities has grown, combined with our accumulated experience in this field, we have established the “Inclusion Advisory” service, to support companies hiring People with Disabilities.
Educate for change
The biggest barrier for promoting disability inclusion is often not accessibility, but the people. People’s attitudes toward those with disabilities, and the ability of people with disabilities themselves. This is why we’re working to influence others through education. Therefore, we established the “Social Inclusion Academy” to educate for change. Through the Disability Equality Awareness Workshop, influence people’s attitudes and attitudes towards people with disabilities; through the Transition Program, empower graduates with intellectual disabilities to enter the workplace smoothly; through the Job Coach Training Program, train the trainer to help people with intellectual disabilities for employment.
